Mobile phone maker partners Speakeezee on
‘Mi-Fones”.

‘Mi”, the maker of “Mi-Fones”, a new brand
of mobile handset is now available in
Nigeria courtesy of Private Networks Nigeria
Limited, the authorized distributor and
operator of the Speakeezee retail centres
nationwide.
The partnership has brought Nigeria into the
market of about 10 markets in Africa where
the mobile handsets are already making
waves. The Chief Executive Officer, Mi, Mr.
Alpesh Patel was quoted in a company
statement on Monday that “Mi” has secured
African network operator and leading
distribution deals in 10 markets, and it is
officially present in Kenya, Ghana,
Tanzania, Uganda, Mauritius, and DRC among
others. He also said, “Mi’s record market
penetration is expected to be high in
Nigeria because of the brands clever
positioning. We provide the emerging market
consumer a range of reliable good looking
products at affordable prices with the key
focus being on variety”
The statement stated that Nigerian consumers
can find the “Mi” range of funky handsets at
all Speakeezee retail stores. The ‘Mi’
product range is an arsenal of slick,
status-affirming models boosted by the
flagship “Mi” Metalix range.
Commenting on the partnership, Patel said
“Having Speakeezee as our valued Retail
partner enables us to deliver affordable
warrantied handsets directly to the end
consumer”.
Meanwhile, PNN has since completed Phase 1
roll out of its 10 outlets in Lagos, Jos,
Ado-Ekiti, Kano, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Asaba
and Benin respectively. The company hinted
that 25 new outlets would be opened soon in
the phase 2 of its expansion.
